Florian Badstübner will referee VfL Bochum’s Friday night away match at FC St. Pauli, kick off 18:30 CET. The 28 year old student from Windsbach will be assisted by Patrick Hanslbauer (of Fürth) and Roman Potemkin (of Kronach) at the Millerntor-Stadion. Viatcheslav Paltchikov (of Lübeck) will be the fourth official. Handling VAR for the fixture are Günter Perl (of Pullach im Isartal) and Asmir Osmanagic (of Stuttgart).
Badstübner has been a DFB referee since 2015, and has officiated 28 2. Bundesliga matches to date, four of which have featured VfL Bochum. In those four fixtures the Blau-Wießen have not had much to celebrate; wining only once, having also drawn once and lost twice. The last VfL fixture that Badstübner officiated was a 2-2 draw against SC Paderborn in August 2018.
