Thomas Reis (VfL Bochum 1848 head coach): I find it a little difficult to express myself today. We got away from our hiccup last week, I can only pay respect to my team after the way last week's game ended. We wanted to play aggressively today because we knew that Darmstadt have been playing well this calendar year and that "Dimi" is doing a great job here. The team has become very secure on the ball and has a good positional play. We wanted to stop that and we did well. In Danny Blum we had the chance to take the lead. But we didn't manage to score. Then Darmstadt had opportunities which we practically invited them to have through our mistakes. In the second half we started sweating a little after giving away six or seven freekicks. We were able to prevent the chances well, then created some opportunities ourselves, but made poor decisions. We always had hope that with a little bit of luck we could still get the three points. But a point here is absolutely deserved for us. We've now gone unbeaten for three away games in a row and have picked up points for three games in a row too - we'll take that with us to the next game and look to get maximum points against Heidenheim next time out.
Dimitrios Grammozis (SV Darmstadt 98 head coach): I think that today was a tough match for us. Bochum are awkward opponents because they are aggressive and have good attackers. That's why I'm satisfied with the point today. We afforded them few chances, apart from Danny Blum's chance at the beginning. In attack we missed a little bit of the calmness today, which has characterised us in recent weeks. It didn't look that fluid today. But we shouldn't be foolish. We're still unbeaten, for ten games now, and have become a force at home.
Simon Zoller: If we play two or three balls better up front, maybe played in the better man, then we could have picked up even more than one point today. I see the game as a bit mixed today, but one point is okay.
Anthony Losilla: Today we have shown that we can be stable at the back. We were really good today in defense, we worked hard together, and gave them very little to work off. In our situation every point is important. If we do our job well and are as stable as we are today in future games, then I'm confident we will will pick up points.
Manuel Riemann: We should have taken the lead at the beginning through Danny - he knows that himself. Overall we had the game under control over the 90 minutes. There was a short phase in the second half, when Darmstadt had a few corners that we gave away a bit of the initiative. We defended everything well away. In my opinion Darmstadt didn't have any big chances today, we didn't let them, and we had some good chances. I think we could have got more here today.
