The Düsseldorf betting provider sportwetten.de and VfL have agreed on a long-term partnership. The betting company and the club initially formed a partnership in the 2018/19 season, now sportwetten.de is returning to the reigning second-division champions as a Premium Partner.

Like the previous partnership, sportwetten.de will feature on the club’s Super-LED score board. In addition, the betting provider will also be visible on advertising spaces behind the goals and on the second row of billboards. In addition to its presence at VfL Bochum 1848's home matches, sportwetten.de will also be increasingly involved in the Bundesliga club's social media activities.

"The new and significantly expanded partnership with VfL reflects the philosophies of the club and our company 100%. Continuity, honest work - whether on the football pitch or in the office - a cooperative approach that goes far beyond the business side of things welcomed by fans and customers alike. We are immensely looking forward to the coming years together with VfL", said Ingo Pauling, director of sportwetten.de GmbH.

"We are delighted that we have been able to win back an old familiar partner and can now revive the successful cooperation", says Christoph Wortmann, Director of Marketing & Sales and Member of the Executive Board. "We have always kept in touch and are now entering the first Bundesliga season together full of anticipation".
