Dariusz Wosz is a new club ambassador for VfL Bochum 1848. The 49-year-old club legend, who played for us in more than 370 competitive matches and still shows his breath-taking skills as a member of the VfL-Legends, will be representing the club at official events and sponsorship events.

"We are more than delighted that Dariusz Wosz will now support us as a club ambassador in addition to his role as a coach of VfL-FUSSBALLSCHULE. He is a true legend to everybody connected with the club and his positive image will add to the brand VfL Bochum 1848. Dariusz Wosz will gradually be introduced to his new responsibilities. In close cooperation with the VfL management, he will develop his new role, always with the aim of offering our partners and fans added value and enhancing the public image of VfL Bochum 1848. "
In his career, Wosz played over 370 competitive games for VfL Bochum 1848, scoring 45 goals and leading VfL to UEFA Cup qualification twice, whilst also wearing the shirt of the national team. After the end of his professional career he remained loyal to the club as a youth and assistant coach and is currently a coach at VfL-FUSSBALLSCHULE.
