VfL defender Anthar Yahia looks back on action- packed and great six months. The Algerian national team player scored the crucial goal in the match against Egypt securing his mother country a place at the 2010 World Cup in South Africa. Moreover, Bochum avoided relegation last year and a few days ago, Anthar pulled on national colours as Algeria faced Egypt in the African Cup of Nations semi- finals. To crown all that, Anthar was elected and named Arabian footballer of the year 2009. As a matter of course, VfL Bochum compliment their defender on that award.
